All aspiring footballers dream of playing at the highest level and the English Premier League is unquestionably the pinnacle in domestic football. It’s the biggest league in the world, which attracts the most eyes and clubs generally also pay the highest wages. With the Premier League season now finished and Arsenal crowned champions, we’ve analysed which clubs used players with the most different nationalities this season.
Premier League clubs using players with most different nationalities
Four Premier League clubs used players with 17 different nationalities this season; Burnley, Sunderland, Tottenham and Wolves. Meanwhile, five clubs utilised players with 16 different nationalities; Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United. Interestingly, Everton sit bottom of the table with David Moyes only deploying players with 9 different nationalities. Those nine nationalities are English, France, Senegal, Germany, Argentina, Guinea-Bissau, Ireland, Scotland and Ukraine.
