Dušan Vlahović has completed his move to Besiktas in a major statement from the Turkish giants. The 26-year-old has been without a club since his contract with Juventus ended at the end of January and he’s been linked with several European giants. There has been speculation over moves to Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid and Besiktas’ two-city rivals Fenerbahce and Galatasaray but Besiktas have won the race.

Vlahovic will arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday after an agreement over personal terms was reached with Besiktas technical director Eduard Graf traveling to Belgrade to finalise contract details. Vlahovic previously worked with the Black Eagles’ head coach Vicenzo Italian at Fiorentina and Besiktas will be hoping that the striker can recapture his form that led to Juventus paying €70m for his services in 2022.

Bestikas’ all-time top MVPS

Besiktas announced the acquisition of Vlahovic on Wednesday afternoon and it’s understood that he’s penned a three-year deal at the Super Lig outfit. And using Transfermarkt’s famed market values, Vlahovic has become the most valuable player to ever feature for Besiktas. The Serbian is currently valued at €35 million, which is €5m higher than the current record-holder, Orkun Kökçü. The Turkish international who still plays for Besiktas is currently valued at €25m, but he was valued at €30m in 2025. Various household names feature in the top ten list including Miralem Pjanic, Leandro Trossard and Dele Alli.
