It's that time again. Every four years the footballing world unites for the most coveted of prizes: to be the World Cup champion. This summer’s 2026 edition will be the biggest yet, with as many as 48 nations competing in the USA, Canada and Mexico. There will be an abundance of talent on show from across six continents, but who will be the most valuable players to compete at the 2026 World Cup? Using Transfermarkt's world-renowned market values, we have you covered. Players with the same value are ranked by youngest first.

The top 100 players at the 2026 World Cup

Leading the way is Spain's 18-year-old wonderkid, Lamine Yamal. The Barcelona winger has a €200 million market value, and looks set to overcome a recent injury to be available for Spain’s opener against Cape Verde if needed. In second is Norway striker Erling Haaland – the 25-year-old also has a €200m market value and will be competing at his first ever major international tournament. Third goes to France forward Kylian Mbappé, who has a €180m market value.

In fourth place is Spanish midfielder Pedri with a €150m market value. He just beats fifth-placed Michael Olise of France, who is also worth €150m, but a year older. Brazil’s Vinicius Junior (€140m) takes seventh, followed by Portugal’s Vitinha (€140m) in eighth. England’s no.10 Jude Bellingham (€130m) is ninth, with France’s Désiré Doué (€120m) completing the top 10.

There are then a further eight players worth €100m+: Declan Rice (€120m), Bukayo Saka (€110m), Florian Wirtz (€100m), Jamal Musiala (€100m), Moisés Caicedo (€100m), William Saliba (€100m), Julián Alvarez (€100m), and Ousmane Dembélé (€100m).
