Luciano Spalletti will remain in charge of Juventus even if the Bianconeri fail to qualify for the Champions League, and Gazzetta names the Italian tactician’s top transfer targets for next summer, including Liverpool’s Alisson.
Juventus coach Spalletti will hold talks with club owner John Elkann on Monday, after the end of the 2025-26 Serie A campaign.
Spalletti’s top 2026-27 transfer targets at Juventus
Spalletti signed a contract extension to 2028 in April, and Gazzetta confirms that even if the Old Lady fails to qualify for the Champions League, the Certaldo-born tactician will keep his job.
It remains to be seen whether the Bianconeri will make changes to their club’s structure, given that Spalletti and CEO Damien Comolli are not exactly on the same page, especially regarding transfer decisions.
Spalletti is aware that the likely lack of Champions League revenue will affect the Old Lady’s summer transfer window, yet he hopes for some significant reinforcements to strengthen the team in 2026-27.
According to Gazzetta, Spalletti wants at least one new signing in each role: Liverpool’s Alisson is by far his priority target, Bayern Munich’s Kim, one of Spalletti’s former stars at Napoli, is the preferred option at centre-back, and Napoli’s Stanislav Lobotka is the main objective for the Regista role.
Spalletti also wants an attacking midfielder and is pushing for Dusan Vlahovic’s contract extension, but it’s unlikely that the Serbia international will remain in Turin if Juventus fail to qualify for the Champions League.
