Internal friction at Trigoria makes it premature to talk about signings and sales ahead of the summer.
Roma still has to make decisions about his immediate future, but in the meantime, transfer rumors are swirling.
The latest concerns Venezia player Issa Doumbia.
As reported by ‘La Nuova Venezia’, several Italian clubs are interested in the Italian midfielder, whose parents are Ivorian.
One of these is Roma. In Serie A, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also interested, and according to the newspaper, they have been tracking him for some time.
This season, Doumbia has been under coach Giovanni Stroppa’s command on 36 occasions, between the league and the Coppa Italia. Despite being a midfielder, goals are in his blood: he has scored eight goals and provided six assists.
These numbers have also attracted the interest of Turkish club Besiktas.
The Istanbul club has reportedly already submitted an offer to Venezia for him in the Super Lig: €15 million.
Roma, however, have not received any offers, as they are currently busy finishing the season and resolving internal issues between Gian Piero Gasperini and Claudio Ranieri.
