🚨 Jean-Philippe Mateta will make the final decision on whether to undergo knee surgery after an injury caused him to miss out on a £30M move to AC Milan in January.
The Italian club pulled out in part due to concerns over his knee that were identified during medical examinations.
Oliver Glasner has indicated that Mateta himself will decide whether to continue treating the issue conservatively or pursue a long-term solution, once a final medical opinion has been obtained — with hope that the striker can be part of France’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
