The Rome-based paper claims that the summit will take place sometime next week, either before or after a Serie A match against Cremonese.

The meeting will also involve Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, and the club’s CEO, Andrea Chiavelli.

Conte has one year left in his contract with Napoli, which expires in June 2027.

De Laurentiis has returned from the USA and is expected to be at the Stadio Maradona later today for a Serie A match against Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio.

De Laurentiis recently admitted that he would not stand in the way of Conte’s return to the Italy bench, but the coach’s appointment depends on who the next FIGC President will be, with elections taking place on June 22.
