Juventus are pushing to sign Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, and according to Tuttosport, Bianconeri directors hold weekly talks with the 31-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
Latest Bernardo Silva transfer updates
Bernardo Silva confirmed earlier this week that he’d leave Manchester City at the end of his contract in June, so he’s available for a free transfer at the end of the season.
The player is reportedly tempted to join Juventus but has taken time to make an assessment.
According to Tuttospor, Juventus are the only Serie A side to have proposed a convincing project to the Portugal international, but Spanish giants Barcelona represent the biggest threat to the Old Lady, given that Bernardo Silva is fascinated by the Catalans.
Juventus are reportedly open to making an exception, offering Bernardo more than €7m per season. That is the sum that Kenan Yildiz will earn next season, more than any player at the Allianz Stadium.
Bernardo Silva earns €10m per season, and according to the report, he won’t consider offers below €8m- €9m per season.
