Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Forshaw has extended his contract through to the end of next season.

The 34-year-old joined the Ewood Park side from Plymouth in January 2025 and has made 37 league appearances.

"I have a brilliant relationship with the players, staff and the fans now, and you can't underestimate that as a player," he told the club website.

"When all those boxes are ticked, it makes it such an easy decision to make."
