🇩🇪🗣 Bayern Munich board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge:
“We cannot go on with constantly rising wages and transfer costs. This is not a serious way of working. In England, clubs are now owned by billionaires or even states, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. That forces you to compete with them even in the Champions League.
We need to reduce the limit from 70% to 60%, or even better, to 55% of revenues for salaries and transfers. We need a shared solution, we cannot continue with the ‘always more’ mentality.
Clubs, players and agents must sit down together to seriously discuss the future.”
