Never in the history of El Clasico has a league title been decided during the game, but Barcelona have a special chance to do so this weekend.
The Catalans need just a point against Real Madrid to mathematically seal the league title in their favour, and a win or a draw will see them crowned champions at home against their arch-rivals.
At this point, the title race is thus all but closed. The club, however, still refuse to show any complacency according to AS.
No celebration planning
Indeed, Barcelona do not plan to release or share any information on the celebration plans for the league title, keeping El Clasico in mind.
They have thus opted to exert caution and will not release any statements until the title is mathematically theirs. Everything will be released at the right time.

The idea of holding back on premature title celebration talks is to keep the team focused on the task at hand without any overconfidence or relaxation.
After all, Real Madrid will be determined to delay Barcelona’s title celebrations as far as possible. They already stole a win against Espanyol at the weekend and will look to keep the momentum building against Barcelona.
Even if Barcelona lose the Clasico, they would theoretically need to lose all their remaining games to lose the title – something that seems unlikely at this point.
All focus for the Blaugrana dressing room, thus, will be to get all three points against Real Madrid and not only celebrate the Clasico win but also the title win in front of their arch rivals.
It would, after all, be a historic night at the Spotify Camp Nou.
