Aston Villa sign Alejandro Garnacho on loan with obligation to buy

Aston Villa confirmed the signing of Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho on Thursday, with the 22-year-old Argentine forward making the move to Villa Park on a loan deal. Reports have consistently stated that the young talent will join the club on a permanent deal for a fee of around €50 million. If true, the former Manchester United youngster will become Villa’s fourth most expensive signing, surpassing the €44.5m Villa paid for fellow former Chelsea player Ian Maatsen in 2024.
