The American businessman arrived at Marassi one hour before kick-off and immediately headed towards the dressing rooms, asTMW reports.
Cardinale gave a rare interview to Gazzetta and Corriere della Sera earlier this week, expressing concerns aboutthe team’s recent poor form.
Milan find themselves level on 67 points with fifth-placed Roma with just two Serie A games remaining.
Today, they visit Genoa without the suspended Rafael Leao, Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan.
