Yann Bisseck and Ange-Yoan Bonny both returned to the starting lineup as Inter Milan dropped two points at Torino yesterday.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the German center-back held up his end of the deal in Turin.
After missing Inter’s previous three Serie A matches due to injury, Yann Bisseck stepped up in a big way on Sunday.
Indeed, the 25-year-old made light work of Che Adams.
Furthermore, he scored his third league goal of the season, powering home a thumping header just after the hour mark.
Despite extending Inter’s lead in the second half, Bisseck’s heroics failed to bring three points to San Siro.
Bisseck Superb, Bonny Lackadaisical as Inter Milan Held by Torino
Inter found a first-half opener through resurgent Marcus Thuram, who headed home Federico Dimarco’s cross at the back post.
However, the 28-year-old’s partner, Bonny, fell short of expectations.
Cristian Chivu gave the French starlet the nod ahead of Francesco Pio Esposito, but the former Parma striker failed to impress.
Indeed, his fancy footwork rarely translated into an end product, as he struggled to make a decisive impact in the final third.
Therefore, it’s no wonder that Chivu decided to take the out-of-form center-forward off midway through the second half.
