SPL announces nominees for 2025-26 Season Awards

The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has announced the nominees for the 2025-26 SPL Season Awards, with voting opening on Sunday.

The awards comprise four categories: Player of the Season, Saudi Player of the Season, Manager of the Season and Best Young Talent of the Season.

The voting panel includes the head coaches and captains of all 18 participating clubs in the 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League, in addition to 18 of the Kingdom’s leading sports journalists, together with fans of the RSL.

The head coaches and captains each make up 40 percent of the vote, with the media's contribution weighted at 15% and fans at 5%.

This diverse group of voters reflects the SPL's commitment to honouring those who have made the most significant impact on the pitch, with perspectives drawn from both within the game and the media that covers it, as well as supporters. Voting closes on Monday at 9pm KSA.

The winners will be announced on Friday, May 22 following the conclusion of the final matchweek (Matchweek 34) of the current RSL campaign.

The awards, which represent the league’s commitment to spotlighting excellence and motivating continued improvement across all levels of competition, will be presented to the winners at the beginning of the 2026-27 RSL season.
