The champions of Italy are expected to be given a festive welcome into San Siro as Cristian Chivu and his double-winning Inter side host Hellas Verona in their final home match of the 2025-26 season on Sunday.
The Nerazzurri beat Lazio 2-0 in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday evening, which came 10 days after their 2-0 Serie A victory against Parma in the game that mathematically won them the Scudetto.

The club will be celebrating with a special pre-match ceremony, they will also be presented with the Serie A trophy after full-time and will embark on an open-top bus parade through the city after the on-pitch celebrations draw to a close on Sunday.
The game itself is somewhat of a formality: Inter have already won the league and Verona have already been relegated, which leaves neither with anything to play for other than honour.
This gives Chivu an opportunity to rotate his pack: Yann Sommer is likely to return in goal, and there could also be a final San Siro appearance for veteran Francesco Acerbi, who will be out of contract in June.
Sky Sport Italia predicts that Luis Henrique will be given a chance over Denzel Dumfries at right wing-back and that Carlos Augusto will start over Federico Dimarco on the left. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also likely to come into the midfield. Ange-Yoan Bonny is also likely to partner Lautaro Martinez in attack.
Verona were beaten 1-0 by Como last weekend, but are far less likely to rotate their starting XI. In fact, Sky predicts that Paolo Sammarco will stick with an unchanged line-up against the champions on Sunday.
Kick-off is scheduled for 14.00 BST on Sunday.
