Salford City midfielder Kallum Cesay has signed a new deal to remain with the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The 23-year-old joined the Ammies from Wealdstone last summer and has scored five goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances for the club.

"It's my first season in EFL football so I'm really happy to stay here to carry on my journey, and hopefully do much more for this club," he said.

"It's a big step up [from Wealdstone] but I think I was always ready for it, I believe in myself so I knew I could do it."
