Manu Kone remains Inter Milan’s primary midfield target for the summer, and the France midfielder is still open to making the switch from Roma to the Nerazzurri, according to Tuttosport.
According to the outlet, via L’Interista, Inter plan to return with a formal offer next month as they look to add physicality and energy to one of Europe’s best midfield units.
Koné’s interest in the move has never wavered.
Last summer Inter came close to signing him for over €40 million, only for Roma’s ownership to block the sale under pressure from supporters.

Indeed, the key shift this summer could come from Roma’s side.
The Giallorossi may now show greater willingness to sell, potentially at a lower figure than the €40-45 million demanded previously.
Furthermore, Tuttosport clarify that Koné’s arrival would not conflict with Hakan Calhanoglu’s continued presence. The two players occupy different roles and would complement rather than compete with each other.
Therefore, the conditions for this deal to happen are more favourable than twelve months ago.
