RMC Sport have drawn up what they maintain is the squad for the competition, including four Serie A players.
They are Milan goalkeeper Maignan, Inter striker Thuram, Milan midfielder Rabiot, and Roma man Koné.
This would mean leaving out several other Serie A representatives who had hoped they would get into the Bleus group travelling to North America.
Marcus Thuram’s younger brother, Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, looks to be left at home with his Bianconeri teammate Pierre Kalulu.
Milan’s Youssouf Fofana doesn’t make the cut, nor does his Rossoneri striker Christopher Nkunku.
