It is no secret that Real Madrid are gearing up for a summer of change once the transfer market reopens.
The Spanish giants have gone two seasons without a major trophy and are in desperate need of a makeover.
As a result, several players and even some members of the coaching staff are facing an uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid project to revolve around two players
However, amid speculation of potential departures, two players are going to be a constant in the Real Madrid team setup next season.
According to Diario AS (h/t RM4Arab), the Real Madrid project will continue to revolve around Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe next season. Both these players are considered untouchable.
This naturally means Real Madrid are not considering any sale of either of these two players and instead are looking to get players that can work around them next season.

This is despite the fact that Vinicius Jr. is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid, with the forward yet to reach an agreement over a new contract.
The Brazilian international’s deal at Santiago Bernabeu expires in 2027, with Los Blancos not too keen on meeting his salary demands.
Mbappe, on the other hand, has been the club’s best player since joining in 2024. But he has faced criticism for his lack of defensive work ethic, while the Frenchman has also struggled adapting to the methods of new coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Despite these complications, Real Madrid are firm about reviving their project around Vinicius Jr. and Mbappe next season and perhaps even beyond, provided they can extend the contract of Vini in the coming summer.
