While Roma can be happy with Gianluca Mancini’s partial return to training, the other side of the coin is the injury Niccolò Pisilli sustained in training yesterday.
The young Giallorossi midfielder has sprained his left ankle and his condition will be monitored day by day.
It remains to be seen whether No. 61 will be eligible for this weekend’s match against Atalanta or whether he’ll be forced to withdraw and aim to return for the away match at the Dall’Ara against Bologna.
If the Under-21 midfielder isn’t able to make it, Gasperini is ready to field the Cristante-El Aynaoui duo.
