10Pellegrini becomes 3rd best scoring midfielder in Serie A since 2017/18
The Italian derby between Bologna and Roma, valid for the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, ended 1-1.
Bernardeschi broke the deadlock at the Dall’Ara in the 50th minute and in the 71st minute Pellegrini scored the equaliser with a strike into an empty net: everything will be decided in the return match, which will take place in a week at the Stadio Olimpico.
As revealed by the statistics portal OptaPaolo, the Giallorossi midfielder has reached 60 goals in all competitions.
Cnsidering Serie A midfielders – only Hakan Calhanoglu (79 goals) and Mario Pasalic (68) have scored more than him since his first goal for Roma in the 2017/18 season.
