Guernsey FC's stuttering end to the season continued as they lost 5-0 at Pagham in the Southern Combination Premier Division.
The third successive loss for the Green Lions was their joint-heaviest of the season having lost 6-1 at Haywards Heath Town in November.
It means Guernsey are still in third place in the division, but must win their final game of the season to guarantee that spot – and a home play-off semi-final.
The seventh-placed hosts had the best of the early chances and went ahead in the 13th minute as Josh Irish beat Guernsey goalkeeper Josh Addison to a long ball before finishing.
Callum Le Lacheur hit the Pagham post in the 32nd minute while Sam Murray went close soon after as Guernsey fought for an equaliser.
But it was Pagham that got on the scoreboard again when Kaleem Haitham cut in from the left and fired past Josh Addison to make it 2-0 after an hour.
The result was confirmed with 10 minutes to go when Mason Vince broke down the right and beat Addison.
Haitham made it 4-0 in the second minute of stoppage time before David Crouch rounded off the win with his side's fifth goal a minute later.
