OGC Nice will look to add to their five-point gap over AJ Auxerre and the relegation playoff spot when they host RC Lens in the evening. Le Gym rescued a point away from home last weekend when Elye Wahi converted a penalty against Olympique de Marseille (1-1).
Claude Puel will be without last weekend’s goal scorer, with Wahi injured. In place of the Eintracht Frankfurt loanee, Kevin Carlos will be given a rare start. The Spanish international has struggled since signing for Nice in the summer, and has yet to score in Ligue 1.
Apart from Wahi, Puel will likely pick an unchanged side from last weekend. Morgan Sanson had to be replaced at half-time against Marseille, with Sofiane Diop seeing out the rest of the derby, but he should be back on the left of the attack.
