Didier Deschamps has named four Serie A players in his France squad for the 2026 World Cup, bringing Mike Maignan, Adrien Rabiot, Manu Koné and Marcus Thuram.

The coach announced his final 26-man list for the tournament, which kicks off next month in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
There is Serie A representation in the form of Milan goalkeeper Maignan and his midfield club teammate Rabiot.
Roma midfielder Koné made the cut, an impressive surge forward in the pecking order for the man who celebrates his 25th birthday this weekend.
Also included is Inter striker Thuram, fresh from the Scudetto and Coppa Italia double at club level.
However, his younger brother and Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram is left at home.
Deschamps has made some unusual decisions for this France squad, leaving out Eduardo Camavinga, Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana and former Juve striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Instead, he has called up Jean-Philippe Mateta, who remained at Crystal Palace when he failed a medical in January for a transfer to Milan.
