Norwich City have paid an undisclosed fee to Premier League club Brentford for midfielder Paris Maghoma.
The 24-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Carrow Road and his arrival follows the signings of winger Ali Ahmed and full-back Harry Amass, the latter on loan from Manchester United.
Maghoma has made eight Premier League appearances as a substitute but his only senior start for Brentford came in an FA Cup defeat at Plymouth 12 months ago.
"It's a massive club that has got a lot of ambitions to get back where they definitely belong," he said.
"I've had great conversations with a lot of people, great conversations with the gaffer. The style of football and everything about it is exactly where I envisage myself being."
The deal was announced just three hours before Norwich's home game against Championship leaders Coventry City.
The Canaries are 20th in the table having won their last two matches under head coach Philippe Clement.
"Paris has always been a huge talent with a really interesting profile," said Norwich sporting director Ben Knapper.
"We believe he has the quality, potential and personality to be a big asset here and we're all looking forward to seeing him help us move towards our goals and objectives."
