According to updates from Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel via Matteo Moretto, via MilanNews, Milan are planning to hold talks with Bartesaghi’s representatives at the end of the season to discuss his future and a potential contract adjustment. Nothing has been finalised yet, with both parties expected to sit down and assess the situation in detail.
The 20-year-old has made 28 Serie A appearances this season, scoring twice, including a brace at San Siro. His performances have been described as inconsistent at times, but with clear flashes of quality that underline his long-term potential.
Newcastle among clubs keen on Milan’s Bartesaghi
That development has not gone unnoticed. Scouts from several English clubs have tracked Bartesaghi throughout the campaign, both at San Siro and away from home. Newcastle, in particular, are understood to hold concrete interest as they continue to look for young talent with room to grow.
For Milan, the situation remains open. A renewal with improved terms is on the table, but discussions will be needed before any agreement is reached. The Rossoneri are keen to understand Bartesaghi’s trajectory and secure his future, though interest from abroad could complicate negotiations.
The upcoming meeting between the club and the player’s entourage is expected to be decisive in determining whether Bartesaghi continues his development in Milan or becomes the subject of serious transfer interest this summer.
