As reported by TMW, the Rossoneri have only earned 25 points in the Gione di Ritorno, the fewest in the last nine seasons.
Milan have lost three of their last five league games and are now level on 67 points with Roma in fourth.
If Rossoneri and Giallorossi finish level on points, Allegri’s side will finish ahead, having a better head-to-head record against Gian Piero Gasperini’s side this season, with one win and one draw.
Tension is running high at San Siro, where fans protested against club CEO Giorgio Furlani before the kick-off of a Serie A match against Atalanta on Sunday.
Milan’s remaining fixtures are away at Genoa and at home to Cagliari, while Roma will play their city rivals Lazio in the next round and already-relegated Verona in the last game of the season.
