Milan have confirmed that they will line up against Scottish giants Celtic and Premier League heavyweights Manchester United in a pair of pre-season friendlies in the summer of 2026.
Milan’s pre-season friendlies confirmed
It has been confirmed that the Rossoneri will take on Celtic at Celtic Park in Glasgow on Saturday July 25.
The Milan squad will then depart for a pre-season tour of Australia and Indonesia, where it is expected that they will face city rivals Inter. Juventus and Palermo will also go down under during the off-season.
Upon their return to Europe, Milan will play against Manchester United in a neutral venue at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland, on Saturday August 15.
The Manchester United match will be Milan’s final pre-season friendly of the summer before taking on Torino away from home during the first round of 2026-27 Serie A fixtures the following weekend.
It remains to be seen what the Milan squad will look like for their pre-season tests. As things stand, the club still has no head coach, no sporting director, no technical director nor a CEO following the departures of Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare, Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani the day after the 2025-26 campaign ended.
There have also been reports that with no Champions League football and with massive uncertainty surrounding the club’s senior management that several first-team stars could leave as well, including the likes of Rafael Leao, Luka Modric and potentially Adrien Rabiot and Mike Maignan as well.
