Frederic Massara continues to work for Roma, despite his future seemingly being sealed away from the capital.
The Giallorossi sporting director has been reported abroad in recent days: the goal is to seek out young players to bring into the team and schedule the transfers by June 30th.
The former AC Milan director, as reported byCorriere dello Sport, recently held talks with Bayer Leverkusen regarding two players: Culbreath and Alajbegović.
Culbreath is an 18-year-old full-back who came through the Bayer Leverkusen youth system and made the leap to the first team this year. Born in 2007, he scored one goal this season against Leipzig, and is well-suited to Gasperini’s formation given his attacking abilities: his valuation is between €7 and €8 million.
Alajbegović is the other player Roma are targeting. The situation is very different in this case, as a bidding war could be triggered with other clubs, including Napoli, Milan, and Inter.
Currently, however, the Giallorossi are the club that has shown the most interest in the Bosnian player born in 2007.
The Roman club, in addition to meeting with his father, his agent, in the capital, have continued to make moves.
A Roma scout, in fact, made a trip to Leverkusen to follow the match between Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig.
Culbreath, Nusa, and Schlager are on their list. Alajbegović played elsewhere, but anyone who wants to discuss his future will have to stop in the German city.
