In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Liverpool are ready to launch a move for Tottenham Hotspur star Micky van de Ven. It has been mentioned that the Reds are hoping to make a €95m offer to sign the Dutch defender this summer.
Van de Ven’s Impressive Form In English Football
Van de Ven has enjoyed a good run of form at the North London club after he produced a string of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. The 25-year-old has scored seven goals and grabbed one assist in 42 matches for Tottenham this season in all competitions.
The Dutch talent is still among the best centre-backs in the Premier League when he is playing with confidence on the field. However, it is no wonder that Liverpool are showing interest in him in this upcoming transfer window.
His current contract at the North London club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Reds to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Van de Ven is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind clearing his lines when the opposition are on the offensive and is proficient at playing his way out from the back.
Standing at 1.93m, the Dutch talent can use his strong frame to win his fair share of aerial duels. Van de Ven has also got the pace to get back and make some important recovery runs inside his half. He has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at the Merseyside club.
We can expect Van de Ven to add more bite and steel to Liverpool‘s defence. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Premier League club.
