Real Madrid are likely to part ways with a number of fringe players from their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.
One of them happens to be young striker Gonzalo Garcia, who has struggled to feature prominently with the first team this season.
Juventus interested in Gonzalo
Now, according to Tuttosport (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Juventus are among the clubs monitoring Gonzalo’s situation heading into the summer.
The Bianconeri have been interested in signing the Real Madrid academy graduate for some time. There were already contacts between Juventus and Real Madrid last January regarding the player, although no agreement was reached at that stage.
Juventus are now expected to revive their interest in an attempt to secure Gonzalo’s signing, with the striker likely to move on at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old striker was officially promoted to the first-team squad heading into this season after his exploits at the FIFA Club World Cup, where he finished as the joint top goalscorer.
However, minutes with the Merengues have been hard to come by, with the youngster playing only 1,999 minutes across 34 games, in which he has scored six and assisted two goals.
With Kylian Mbappe the undisputed starter in the No. 9 position and Endrick set to return from his loan spell at the end of the season, Gonzalo is expected to leave, although Real Madrid could insist on a buyback clause for the youngster.
Whether Juventus are willing to accept such an arrangement remains to be seen.
