Wednesday’s reports claim that a deal for Liverpool’s Alisson Becker is becoming increasingly complicated for Juventus and that the Bianconeri could instead turn to Fiorentina and former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea instead.
Could Juventus make a move for 35-year-old De Gea?
Juventus are expected to reshuffle their goalkeeping department during the summer transfer window with at least one of Mattia Perin or Michele Di Gregorio likely to leave the club.
For several weeks, Juventus have been linked with a move for Liverpool’s Alisson, who will be entering the final year of his contract at Anfield over the summer and could be allowed to leave under suitable circumstances.

However, Alisson’s current wage would make him one of the highest earners in the decision at a reported €8m per season plus bonuses. That does not include a transfer fee, which Tuttosport reports to be set at around €15m plus potential signing-on bonuses.
Instead, Fiorentina’s De Gea represents a slightly more affordable option. He earns a reported €3.5m per season in Tuscany, and Fiorentina are said to be considering a sale in order to reduce their own wage bill.
Tuttosport claims that Fiorentina could listen to offers in the region of €10m for the Spaniard, who has made 68 Serie A appearances over the last two seasons and was a four-time winner of Manchester United’s player of the year award.
