John Stones will leave Manchester City at the end of the season after a decade at the club.
The centre-half joined Pep Guardiola’s side from Everton in 2016 and has since won six Premier League titles, with the club chasing a seventh this season.
The England international was also part of the side that won the Champions League in 2023, starting the 1-0 final win over Inter Milan in Istanbul.
Confirmation of the 31-year-old’s departure, which comes at the end of his contract, follows that of club captain Bernardo Silva, who is also leaving at the conclusion of the campaign.
