The draw for the Under-17 World Cup was held in Doha today, and Italy are hoping to go better than the last edition, when they secured the bronze medal in 2025, beating Brazil on penalties.
The 2026 tournament for the Nazionale kicks off on November 20 against Jamaica, then they’ll take on the Ivory Coast on November 23, before ending Group E against Uzbekistan on November 26.
The top two teams in every group, plus the best eight third-placed sides, will go through to the Round of 16.
The Final is scheduled on Sunday December 13.
This is the eighth time that the Azzurrini are participating in the Under-17 World Cup, after 1991, 1993, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2019, 2025 and 2026.
