Saturday’s reports claim that Inter could turn to Manchester City’s Ruben Dias in the event that Yann Bisseck leaves the club this summer, as the Portugal international is no longer considered ‘untouchable’ following the departure of Pep Guardiola.
Report Inter keen on Man City’s Dias if Bisseck is sold
Inter are fresh off winning the domestic double in 2025-26 but are already plotting moves on the summer transfer market. Saturday’s reports claim that the Nerazzurri are pushing ahead with a potential deal for Liverpool’s Curtis Jones and Aleksandar Stankovic will be bought back from Club Brugge as well, but there could be a few moves in defence as well.
Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian will be leaving the club at the end of their contracts in a month’s time, and it is likely that Stefan De Vrij will follow them.
There are also growing reports that 26-year-old Bisseck could make a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and that Inter are hoping to recoup a fee in the region of €40m if they are to sell the German this summer.
According to reports from the Corriere dello Sport, if Bisseck is sold this summer, Inter could turn to Man City stalwart Ruben Dias.
The hope is that without Guardiola, the Portuguese centre-back could be open to a move elsewhere. Inter also have history in negotiations with Man City and were able to pull off a favourable loan with a conditional obligation to buy for Manuel Akanji last summer.
Dias is expected to come at a significantly greater cost than Akanji, however, as Corriere dello Sport suggests a €50m fee will be needed to convince City into selling. Naturally, this would require a sale of somebody in the Bisseck mold if it were to go ahead.
