Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield (kick-off 15:00 BST).

Here are the key lines from his news conference:

  • Adam Wharton will be available after missing Monday's draw against West Ham with a groin problem: "Adam is good. He is fit and trained yesterday without any issues."
  • A late call will be made on Nathaniel Clyne's availability: "One question mark we have is Nathaniel. He was ill yesterday, but then was better in the evening. He's being assessed at the moment, but hopefully he is available."
  • Glasner has no fresh fitness issues in his squad: "All the others are the same, so we've got no new injury concerns, which is good news. Of course, the two injuries we still have are Eddie Nketiah and Evann Guessand. So they will miss this game."
  • Will next Thursday's Conference league semi-final first leg affect his approach as Anfield?: "No. Saturday to Thursday feels like a very long spell between. We are just preparing the players for the Liverpool game. We have the opportunity to beat Liverpool four times in one season which is unique. We are really highly motivated because maybe this will never happen again and it is a massive chance."
  • Has he got any information as to who may replace him as Palace boss?: "Wrong person to ask this question. I am not involved in finding my successor. You will have to ask the chairman. I do not know what is going on behind the scenes."
  • More on his goals for the remainder of his time with the Eagles: "We are focused with five weeks to go, a lot to achieve not just in the Premier League. We want to finish with a five at the start of the points because it would mean the last two years have been the best two Premier League seasons regarding points in Crystal Palace's history. Besides that, winning at least two trophies – hopefully we can add another one. For me, this would be a lovely ending to the story."
  • Will Saturday's opponents have extra motivation after losing three times to Palace already this season?: "Liverpool want to qualify for the Champions League. They don't need this motivation. They are a Champions League team and that will be their motivation. A home game against Crystal Palace – they will say they need these three points to achieve their goal."
  • On a chance to qualify for Europe through both league position and winning the Conference League: "It's always better to have two than none. On the other side, I can't praise the team enough for their mentality, their character their work ethic, their attitude and the spirit we have here. They are always sticking together and working really hard. I think here together we created a great environment for everybody. Enjoying what you are doing is one requirement for being successful, then an intrinsic motivation to get better."
