Latest Roma transfer news: Greenwood to replace Soulé?
Roma will partially reshape their attack in the summer and have made English winger Greenwood the primary target for their attack.
Reports on Wednesday claimed that Roma had made contact with the player’s entourage, and Gazzetta now reports that the response was positive, as Greenwood is very much open to moving to the Stadio Olimpico.
Gazzetta confirms that the biggest issue for Roma remains Marseille’s asking price of around €50m for a player still under contract until 2029.
Stephan El Shaarawy will leave Roma at the end of his contract in June, but Soulé might also walk out of the Olimpico, having attracted interest from Aston Villa.
Gazzetta reports that the fresh Europa League winners have already made an offer, but it was below Roma’s €35-40m asking price.
