Real Madrid are currently burning the midnight oil in their attempts to finalise the next first-team manager, especially after the team went trophy-less once again this season.
Given the situation and all the rides on it, club president Florentino Perez is directly involved in the process and decision-making, and is pushing for an experienced name to take over.
Two names, on that front, appeal to Real Madrid the most – Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho – as relayed yesterday by the Spanish media.
Confident of securing their target
Between the two ‘finalist’ candidates Real Madrid have identified, it appears clear that Jurgen Klopp is the dream target whom the club would prefer to have in charge.
He is, however, considerably more difficult to sign given how he has stepped away from coaching in recent times.
As reported by El Chiringuito, Real Madrid are now growing confident that Klopp will accept their offer in the summer should they put the proposal on the table.

The former Liverpool head coach is aware of the interest from the club and is willing accept their offer to be the next first-team coach.
Recent days have seen floods of reports of Jose Mourinho advancing towards Real Madrid, but this now changes everything.
After all, Klopp was always the No. 1 target and the signing of the ‘Special One’ was only prioritised considering how Klopp’s arrival was seen as unlikely.
With the former Liverpool manager now reportedly willing to return to the coaching position, Real Madrid will look to establish contact and make their position clear with the manager.
The hope will be to have an agreement with him at the earliest, possibly at the end of the season.
