Frederic Massara’s second stint as Roma’s sporting director will last just one year.
After parting ways with Claudio Ranieri, the former AC Milan player will also depart at the end of the season, having become too close to the former Senior Advisor and also driven by friction with Gasperini.
Both Fabrizio Romano and Niccolò Schira have confirmed that the sporting director is on his way out and will pack his bags at the beginning of June.
The differences with Gasperini are too strong, as he would prefer someone like Napoli’s Manna, Atalanta’s D’Amico, or, a recent name, former Roma and Fiorentina player Pradè.
In addition to the squad, the club’s organizational structure will also undergo some changes, and it remains to be seen who will be the Giallorossi’s new sporting director for the upcoming season.
