Bayern Munich vs PSG: Team news and predicted line-ups

Bayern Munich host Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, as they look to overturn a 5-4 deficit to book their place in the final, where they will play Arsenal.

Other than Serge Gnabry being sidelined, Vincent Kompany confirmed that Bayern have a full strength squad available, which means that Lennart Karl is available after missing the last seven games with a thigh injury.

It’s unlikely that Bayern’s teenage prodigy will start, with Luis Díaz and Michael Olise retaining their places – who were both substitutes against Heidenheim at the weekend – after scoring in the first leg at the Parc des Princes.

In fact, Kompany is only expected to make one change to the team that suffered a 5-4 defeat against the Parisien club, with Konrad Laimer coming in for Alphonso Davies at left-back. It’s the same change that the Belgian made at half-time in the reverse fixture.

Additionally, only Josip Stanišić, Joanthan Tah, Aleksandar Pavlović and Jamal Musiala retained their places for the 3-3 draw against Heidenheim.

Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs Paris Saint-Germain

Neuer – Stanišić, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer – Kimmich, Pavlović – Olise, Musiala, Díaz – Kane
