🚨🇪🇸 Atlético Madrid are set to receive at least €1.5m from Rodri’s transfer to Barça, while Villarreal will receive €1.625m.
If all bonuses are met, Atleti’s share could rise to around €2m, while Villarreal’s could reach €1.875m.
This is thanks to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, which compensates clubs that trained a player between the ages of 12 and 23.
The total solidarity contribution amounts to 5% of the transfer fee, with clubs entitled to 0.25% per year between the ages of 12 and 15 and 0.5% per year between 16 and 23.
