Brighton midfielder Joe Knight has completed a permanent move to Stevenage, for what the League One club say is an "undisclosed six-figure fee".

The 20-year-old joined the Seagulls academy as an under-12 and made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in November's 3-0 win over Leeds.

Brighton sporting director Jason Ayto said: "This is a great move for Joe, he wants to go and play and now has the opportunity at a club pushing for promotion in League One.

"He is a credit to our academy and all those coaches and staff who have worked with him over the past decade. We wish him the very best of luck for the future."

Knight has made 28 appearances for Brighton in the Premier League 2 and joins a Stevenage side who currently sit just outside the play-off places in League One.
