Scottish tennis legend – and Hibs fan – Andy Murray has admitted he wants Hearts to win the title this season.
The Tynecastle side, currently a point clear of Rangers and three above Celtic, visit Easter Road on Sunday for the first of their five post-split fixtures.
"I'll probably get hammered for this, but I personally think it's a good thing for Scottish football if Hearts were able to win," Murray, 38, told Sky Sports.
"Obviously as a Hibs fan there's a huge rivalry there, but it's been a long time, the Eighties [since a non-Old Firm team won the league].
"People are asking me about Scottish football, that never really happens. So there is obviously a lot of interest in it.
"I think for Scottish football on the whole it would be a good thing, but for the Hibs-Hearts rivalry it will be disappointing.
"Sunday is a big one. That is Hibs' chance to dent their hopes – I hope Hibs win that, obviously."
