From monitoring performances to understanding the player’s contract situation, PSG are said to be well prepared if they decide to take the next step.
They aim to potentially integrate Martinez into the squad, but despite that interest, Real Madrid are in a strong position.

If PSG are serious, they will have to negotiate directly with Madrid and that will not be straightforward.
Furthermore, it is important to note that, unlike typical deals involving young Real Madrid players, this would not be a partial transfer with future clauses attached.
PSG’s approach would likely involve a full transfer, meaning Madrid would lose control of the player completely. That means no buyback clauses, no retention of player’s rights.
So what now?
Right now, Real Madrid have everything in their favour as the situation is complicated by the current defensive concerns.
This is because the absence of Eder Militao, who faces a long recovery, has forced the club to rethink its plans.
There are already several decisions pending, including contract talks with senior defenders, questions over squad depth, and the integration of young players.
In that context, letting go of a talent like Martinez becomes even harder to justify.
