Milan are open to offers for Portuguese winger Leao in the summer, and Gazzetta confirms that Manchester United are among the clubs interested in the Rossoneri star.
Tuttosport reported last week that Red Devils scouts had watched Leao in action during a Serie A match against Juventus, when his own fans once again booed the Portugal international.
Leao has a €175m release clause in his contract, but Gazzetta reports that Milan directors are open to starting negotiations at €50m.
The Rossoneri have planned to sell Leao just for a cash offer, yet Manchester United could try to further reduce the Serie A giants’ demands by including one of their players in the deal.
According to Gazzetta, Manchester United are open to including Ugarte, Rashford or Zirkzee in the negotiations. The report claims that Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is United’s priority target for the left-wing position, yet the 23-year-old would cost twice as much as Leao in the summer, at circa €100m.
Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona, but whether the Catalans will activate their €30m option to buy at the end of the season remains unclear.
Milan already held talks with Rashford in the 2025 January transfer window, while Zirkzee was among their targets the previous year, when the Dutchman eventually left Bologna for Old Trafford.
Milan are expected to reshape their attack in the summer transfer window, withAtletico Madrid forward Alexander Sorloth at the top of the Rossoneri’s shopping list, according to Gazzetta.
