Thierno Barry looks set to lead the line in a 4-2-3-1 setup. He’ll be the focal point, tasked with holding up play and making sure he’s clinical with whatever service comes his way. Barry has the physical traits to cause Premier League defenders headaches, and West Ham’s backline can’t afford to give him an inch.
With Jack Grealish still out, the creative burden falls on Ndiaye and McNeil to spark things from the flanks and combine with Dewsbury-Hall in the final third. If Everton play with enough tempo, Barry will get his looks at goal, and taking those chances will be the difference between a loss and heading home with the points.
