He could be one for Gladbach’s future: Wael Mohya. After already scoring his first Bundesliga goal against Bayern, he added his second today.
The 17-year-old had put his side ahead in the meantime. According to statistics portal 'Opta', only Youssoufa Moukoko was younger when scoring his second Bundesliga goal.
While Moukoko was 16 years, two months and 17 days old, Mohya is "already" 17 years, three months and four days old.
In the end, though, the goal was not enough for the win. Heidenheim turned the game around for a time through Patrick Mainka and Marnon Busch, before Gladbach’s Franck Honorat eventually scored to make it 2-2.
