📸 Was that really a red? United star sent off for hair pull

Things are currently hardly, if at all, coming together for Manchester United against Leeds United. After just under 70 minutes, the Red Devils are trailing 1-2 against the team in 15th place. Particularly bitter: The hosts have been down to ten men since the 56th minute.

After a challenge, Lisandro Martínez rather unfortunately pulled the hair tie out of opponent Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair. For referee Paul Tierney, that was apparently enough to send the defender off after reviewing the TV footage.

At least Casemiro pulled the hosts back into it afterwards (69').
