Lionel Messi looked impressed as Como talent Nico Paz scored his first goal for Argentina from a free kick last night.

Como talent Nico Paz bagged his first goal for Argentina last night in a 2-1 friendly win over Mauritania at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires.

Paz made his senior Argentina debut in 2024, and last night marked his seventh international appearance with the defending World Cup champions.

Paz scored an excellent free kick at minute 31, while Barcelona legend Messi, watching from the sidelines, applauded the talent from Como after the goal.
